Ts’elxwéyeqw Tribe has an opening for a Natural Resources Technician
Out of respect for a recent loss in the community, the launch of Being Ts’elxweyeqw” – First Peoples’ Voices and history from the Chilliwack- Fraser Valley, British Columbia scheduled for the evening of January 26, at the Sto:lo Resource Centre, has been postponed. The books will be available for sale at the Sto:lo gift shop as of Saturday, January 27.
We look forward to hosting this event in the near future and will share the new date as soon as possible.

Today, the Ts’elxwéyeqw Tribe came together to vote on the Kinder Morgan Mutual Benefits Agreement and the result is a NO vote.
This decision is following years of research, negotiation, and dialogue with members. We thank everyone that came out to vote and was engaged throughout the process. We will work on behalf of members to honor this decision and to explore all options available to protect our territory. The final tally is below.

Don’t forget, there is an information session with Chief David Jimmie tonight (March 9, 2017) from 4pm to 7pm about the proposed Mutual Benefits Agreement regarding Kinder Morgan’s Trans Mountain Expansion Project (TMEP). Dinner will be provided.
Members of the negotiating communities will be voting on whether or not to accept this Agreement on April 22, 2017. It’s important that you come out to get information and ask your questions.
